Ralus on RHEL4 skips files

We have several jobs that skip a hundred or so files, seems random, with the error "Unable to open the item - skipped".

Most of the files are archives that are months old, so they're not in use by anything, they're in directories with thousands of files that get backed up, no special permissions, etc. We're at a loss, since BE doesn't tend to give helpful error messages.

Any ideas for debugging would be appreciated.

Check the job properties on the Advanced tab (not the Advance Open File Option tab) and set the "Open file backup when..." setting to 'without a lock' and see if that helps.
