Reading catalog take an extremely long time

Hi,

reading catalogs takes an extremely long time although using media based catalogs. After nearly four hours (!) the job fails with error e00081d9 (event-id 34113) "BE job enginge doesn't answer" (I hope that's the correct translation).

Prolems with the services have been reported more than one time in this forum (i.e. https://forums.symantec.com/syment/board/message?board.id=103&message.id=56818). But how long take reading media based catalogs? We're using a VXA-3 tape loader. One tape contains between 120 and 160 GB in one or four jobs.

Meanwhile I tested to vatalog the third tape. BE found the mediabased catalogs for every server but no other data. What's wrong here?
