Ready; No idle devises are available

I have been trying to run Backup Exec 10d for the first time. It is running on Windows 2003 Enterprise Server. I am initially trying to copy my SQL backups from disk to tape. My tape drive is a PowerVault 124T connected via SCSI. Installation seems to be successful and I can see the device and all 8 tapes in the Robotic Library. When I try to run a test backup I get the status message, "Ready; No idle devices available". In the log I get error # e0008703. I have looked at the error code descriptions, but nothing solved my issue. I get the same status whether I am trying to Initialize, Erase, or any other task I attempt. Any suggestions?Message was edited by:
