Ready; no idle devices are available

Help! A catalog I was running appeared to have hung, so I stopped/started services and managed to eject the tape.
However, Backup Exec still thinks the tape is in there. If I put the same tape back in and try to inventory, catalog or just eject again, the job comes up with Ready: no idle devices are available. This happens with any tape I put in.
The server's running Windows 2003. I have yet to restart the server.

Hello,

Have you installed the Central Admin server option on this server?

Refer to the following technote that will help resolve the problem:

Title: Jobs appear as ''Ready; no idle devices are available'' in the Job Monitor even though drives are available.
http://support.veritas.com/docs/277592

Revert with details if the issue persists.
