I have a Windows 2000 server that was a media server, I un-installed backup exec and reboot (there are currently no traces left of the old installation.) The problem is that I am now trying to install the Remote Agent from my other Media server and get the following error message:
Warning:
There was an error during the install of Remote Agent for Windows NT/2000 on SQL2.
Any ideas on how I can get the remote agent installed?
