Remote Agent Will not Install

I'm having an extremely difficult time trying to install a RA on a Windows 2003 server. When I try a remote install it says that the network path is not found even though I can browse to the server. I've tried every know set of credentials -all having local admin rights - still no luck.

I tried a manual install and a command line install. Nothing works.

Is there something hidden in the registry or system folders that could be stopping the install?

I'm using BE 10.0 SP4

Copy the entire RANT32 folder from the default location X:\Program Files\Veritas\Backup Exec\NT\Agents\RANT32 onto the remote workstation.

On the workstation or server, open the RANT32 folder and run SETUPAA.CMD to perform a Local installation

Not sure if you have tried this, it might work... worked on one of my servers here.

Hi Dan,

Well I finally got it working after several reboots and then copying the folder over. I have used this command before but it just would not stick. I have tried running the command remotely but this server would not have any of it.
