Remote Agent for WIndows 2000 Cluster

I have two servers as Windows 2000 Cluster for SQL 2000 Database, and installed Veritas 10d in another servers.
I only installed Remote Agent in one of the Cluster Server, and only see the shared drive (c:,d:,e: etc.....) and cannot see the SQL database instance.
Is it the problem for only install the Remote Agent in one node only ? Should I install Remote Agent in both nodes ? I am using Veritas 8.6 before. do I need to uninstall it before install 10d ? thanks.

Best Regards,

To ensure your SQL server can be backed up regardless of which node it's running on, you should install the agent on both nodes.
If you are currently in the testing phase, then just having the agent installed on the active node is OK.
There has been more than one thread where people can't see the SQL database under the virtual server name, both with Microsoft Clustering and Veritas Clustering.

Hello,

Please install remote agent on active node in test enviornment and on both nodes if its production enviornment.

Thanks.
