I use Backup exec 9.0 on a windows 2000 server. My backups are successful for some time now. I do not have a Remote agent installed on anny of my servers. I was capable to backup some shared data on my other servers. Until 3 days ago I rebooted the backup server for some maintenance. Every time I try to backup something the job ends up failed with the error message:

Final error description:
Device could not be backed up because an error occurred while connecting to Remote Agent for Windows Servers.
Make sure that Remote Agent for Windows Servers is running on the target system.
Final error category: Resource Errors
Remote Agent for Windows Servers not detected on \\#server#.
After resaving this message I tried to backup some local data on the backup server. D:\systeembeheer. And I end up getting the same message over again.
Douse anyone knows the solution to this problem?
