Restore individual mailbox for exchange 2007

I have facing individual mailbox restoration issue.  Even I have installation mapi client to my Exchange.  I'm running BE2010 and MS Exchange is 2007.  Anyone facing the same probem before.  Need some sharing..

What is the exact error message you are getting ?

What mapi client did you install ? Normally you don't have to install a client on Exchange.

These are requirement to get the restore done on exchange 2007

You should have the same exchange management console on exchange and BE server.

The account that you are using to restore the individual maibox should have below rights.

1> account should be unique

2> it should be unhidden from GAL

3> Domain admin

4> Full exchange organization rights

5> should have active mailbox

Make sure the system logon account in BE should have the correct password.

MAPI cdo should be installed on the exchange server.

If you have exchange 2007 installed on ws 2008 then there are other prerequisite as well.

The message ask for install latst mapi client.  But I have download the latest and install but still prompt the same error msg.

My exchange 2007 is runing on win2008.  And I have meet he requirement the above you mention.  The error msg is prompt is "install the lastest mapi client".

You will have to install the MAPI client on the Backup Exec Media server !

(not on the exchange server)
