Restoring files backed up with BE2012 to a server with BE2014 agent failing

Hello

I'm trying to restore around 800 gb of files that have been backed up with BE2012 to another file server that is currently being backed up with BE2014. 

I am getting a popup error when going through the Restore Wizard saying "Browse Failure", see attached screenshots

"The version of the Agent for Windows is incompatible with the version of the Backup Exec server attempting to access it"

Is there any way I can restore these files from BE2012 to this file server?

Hi, You're trying to restore to a server with a new agent on it which won't work. 2 choices: 1. Upgrade the BE 2012 media server to 2014, and then change the RAWS agent on the remote server (temporarily) to point to this server for the restore; 2. Restore locally to the BE 2012 media server and then copy to the remote server. Thanks!
