Restoring virtual machine on ESXi 4.1- 2010 R2

Any one else having this issue? During a full/diff restore, my job rate decreases and the byte count remains the same. I can restore from a full just fine. I recently applied SP1, could this be causing the issue????  I've had this happen in two different enviroments, both using b2d....

What are you restoring...is it the entire vmdk file or performing GRT?

Restoring the entire vmdk - full and diff.  Push install the udates???
