Robot manage by NDMP

Hello,

Is a such configuration possible ?

1 robot with three tape drives
1 BE Server connected to 2 of these tape drives (this drives are directly attached to the BE server, so they cannot be shared)
2 NDMP (NetApp Filer) connected to the third drive and the robot arm

This technote explains that the robot arm must be seen by all NDMP devices sharing a drive

http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/321699.htm

Confirm that the library arm is shared between all devices: all media servers as well as all NDMP servers. This is in addition to all tape drives being shared between all servers

It is very much possible

connect 1 drive to NDMP server

Physically partition the library (not through backup exec but through the control pannel of library)

attach remaining drives to BE server

Make sure that you have added NDMP license in backup server & enabled NDMP option on NetApp filer

Installing NDMP license will allow you to add NDMP server in backup exec

Thanks Abhijt ..
I already done this (partitionning the library through  the library control panel)

I was wondering if it was possible without partitionning ...

I guess my BE server need to have access to the library arm like NDMP server, that's why you say that I need to have to partition my library... I hope there is a way to do what I want without partitionning
