Robotic library hardware error.

I keep getting a Robotic library hardware error and then the device is switched to offline. I have spoken with HP about the storageworks library and LTO device I have attached and have found no problems with it.

I can re-enable the device in Veritas without doing anything to the server or backup hardware and then backups will continue to run ok until the next time the error is reported.

Is there any way of stopping this alert from switching the device to offline? I would like to see when the alert happens but not to stop the job, I would be interested to see if the backup could then continue.
