Running a manual backup of B2D folders

Our tape drive went out early last week. In the meantime, we were still able to run the backups everynight....but we never got to write them to tape. I can locate the B2D folders, but could someone tell me how to go back and run these tape backups?

Thanks for your help,
Jake

Hello,

When your tape drive went out, where did you run the backups? Were you running them on backup-to-disk folders? In case you also want the same jobs on tape, you can use the duplicate jobs option as mentioned in the following technote:

How to duplicate backup sets in Backup Exec 9.x/10.0 for Windows Servers
http://support.veritas.com/docs/255866

In case your query is different, please elaborate. Also revert if the above information doesn't help you.

Note : If we do not receive your reply within two business days, this post would be marked ‘assumed answered’ and would be moved to ‘answered questions’ pool.

Regards.

if you have the bkf files, you can go into job setup and create a new duplicate job and select the .bkf files you want to duplicate to tape.
