SQL cannot snapshot multiple databases at once. Service Pack 2 is required for this.

I've this problem below:

Backup- server AOFO: Initialization failure on: "server\database". Advanced Open File Option used: Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS).
SQL cannot snapshot multiple databases at once. Service Pack 2 is required for this.

My SQL Server has Service Pack 4 installed.

My Windows Server 2003 has Service Pack 2 installed.

I have Backup Exec 10 SP5

Why this problem occur?

Anyone can help me?

Hi Bruno,

When it says Service Pack 2 it refers to Windows/Backup Exec and not SQL.

Please check for the update.
