SharePoint server 2007 backup on Backupexec 11d

Hi,
 
I am currently having  problem with backing up the sharepoint server 2007 on my Backupexec 11d.
 
The "Microsoft Sharepoint Server Farms" is grey out on the Selection List. I have tried to "Add server farm", but I got "None of the web servers for the specified server farm could be accessed" 
 
 
OS: Windows server 2003 R2 with SP2
Sharepoing server 2007
Backupexec 11d with Sharepoint portal agent.
 
Any advice about backup the sharepoint server will be very appreciated.

Sharepoint Portal Server 2007 is not supported yet.

Does Symantec have any timetable to release an update or patch for Sharepoint 2007?
 
Or any alternative method to backup and restore the shared document folders and files?
