Sharepoint 2007 - Access Denied when trying to add farm

When trying to add a Sharepoint 2007 Farm to the backup job it says Access Denied.

I've reinstalled Backup exec and recreated the job. The user has access as far as I can tell to all the aspects of sharepoint. The version I'm using is 11d build 7170.

I assume the latest version of Backup Exec and the Sharepoint agent supports Sharepoint 2007?

Any help appreciated.
