Sony LTX200G Ultrium LTO2 tapes

Greetings,

I have a 4 month old Quantum SuperLoader 3. With the unit I purchased 20 Sony LTX200G Ultrium LTO2 tapes. It seems that 1/3rd of the tapes are bad right out of the box.

Is anyone elese using either a SuperLoader 3 or Sony LTO2 tapes? Is it the tapes or the drive. Or maybe it's me :)

I'm sending the sony tapes back for starters. Which brands are others having good luck with.

Are you facing any problem with the Backup Exec application ?
