When I try and stage a restore of a GRT backup of Exchange 2007 to a mapped drive, the restore fails with:
"The path on the media server for staging temporary restore data when restoring individual items must be on a local NTFS volume on the media server."
There's not a lot of information about Backup Exec 12 about, but I saw the following in
http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/302883.htm :
"Also, Backup Exec 12 and above is able to utilize a staging area remote to the media server."
...which I've seen mentioned a few other places.
Can anybody confirm if this is in fact supported, and if so, has anybody managed to do it successfully?
