Do you have a Tape Device connected to this server?
If YES, try disabling the device from Device Manager and then verify if the issue persists.
If disabling the device resolves the issue, please enable the device and then either update the device drivers to the latest provided by Symantec (http://support.veritas.com/docs/284012) or install the latest drivers provided by the Manufacturer.
You could try patching Backup Exec with SP1 (http://support.veritas.com/docs/282818) and verify if the issue still persists.
