Supported scenario ? BE 2010 installed inside VM ESX guest

Hi,

I want to create ESXi cluster (iSCSI), that will hold 4 MS WinSrv2k8 machines. The BE 2010 Server will be installed into one of that guest machine.
Is this config supported by Symantec support ?

Hi,

I guess that as long as you are backing up to an iSCSI target, you won't have a problem.
Backing up to a SCSI tape drive won't be supported, and backing up to an FC-attached drive/library MIGHT work, but I haven't seen much around this.
