Symantec Backup Exec 2010 Agent for Exchange

Hi,

I am going to buy Symantec Backup Exec 2010 along with Agent for Exchange.

Can someone clarify how many agent for exchange I have to buy for a setup where I have two exchange servers in cluster mode.

Hi Mudassir

Please let me know version of exchange you have & you will require two license key for exchange & 2 remote agent you will have to install on cluster node

If it exchange 2010 in DAG with 2 mailbox node then you will require 2 exchange licenses & you will have to install remote agent on mailbox node & CAS node

You need to buy 1 exchange agent license and you will have to install remote agent 

on each node. 

EDIT: For non-cluster environment, 1 Exchange agent license per exchange server.
