After reinstalling Backup Exec 15 on a new Server two Symantec OstDrv where appearing.
After restarting the services they where showing as offline and I was able to delete them.
Today after a reboot the Symantec OstDrv are showing again.

then open up Beutility.exe and run a repair of the BEDB. See if this fixes the issue.
Thanks!

@CraigV: I will give the Beutility.exe a try after some backups jobs complete.

The similar instances of this seen in the past have needed a formal support case to be opened as edits within the BEDB may be needed.

I have repaired the BEDB with the Beutility.exe and deleted the offline OstDrv afterwards.
After some restarts the drives did not apear again. So I am hoping that the problem is solved.

Hmm It thought I posted a comment in this thread yesterday
When we have seen this in the past it has needed database (BEDB) content modifications and as such you should log a formal suppprt case.
