Now that Symantec is in charge, is the future of Backupexec for Netware Dead. I ask this because when the Bought out the company the produced Server Magic they immediatly sent out letters of discontinuance of support for Novell.
Good question. I know that VERITAS strategy was to grab as much market share for as many platforms as possible. I do not know about Symantec strategy but perhaps they will encourage migration to NetBackup and the lucrative licensing revenue that it makes.
