Taking long time to backup oracle on linux server

Hello Everyone

My symatec backupexec version 12 taking too much time to backup oracle database while MS sql backup is working fine.....

I am using BEWS_12.1364_LINUX-UNIX-MAC_AGENTS.tar for oracle agent on linux server.

I have a very similar problem.

Running Backup Exec v 12.0 rev 1364 with Remote Agent for LInux or Unix Servers.

My LINUX backup is taking too long on 2 Linux servers and the size of the backup shows like 4  times bigger than the actual data.

Actual data is 300 GB and the backup size is like 1.2 TeraBytes!!

Anyone has an idea of what is going on?
