Tape Compression Ratio

Is it possible to see the compression ratio for each section of the backup rather than just for the whole tape? At present I see that I achieve a ratio of about 1.5 but would like to see what the compression ratio is for the file-shares, SQL db's and the Exchange Info Store.

As far as I know you can't see the compression ratio per file/directory only the total compression.

Yep, if you just wanted to find out the ratio's out once rather than on a regular basis you could work around it by creating a series of individual backups to backup each area you want to see the ratio for, and then running each of them to see the results for each.
