Tape ejects when verfy appears to run...

Backup Exec v10 build 5520
Tape Drive: Quantum DLT7000 (External)
Windows 2003 SP1 + All hotfixes

When I run a backup the data appears to be backed up just fine but when the verify runs it ejects the tape and asks for the same tape to be put back in the drive for the verify. I put the tape back in the drive but is kicks it back out again.

I can cancel the job and I get a volume mount error message. However, when I run a restore off the tape I am able to pull data off the tape from anywhere in the catalog. This was not happening until we upgraded from 9 to 10. I am at a loss as to why this is happening.
