Please confirm that the drive hardware is powered on and properly cabled.

I am using Veritas drivers, have updated the BE as much as I know how. This seems to be the case with any backup job I try to run. I can inventory successfully.
I am also using a Quantum dlt8000 autoloader and get similar errors and my jobs are not finishing.
Ideas?
