Unable to create Backup-to-Disk folder

I am trying to create a backup to disk folder to a remote server. I have connected to it using mapped network drive and assigned a drive letter, say Y.

I use Y:\Test\ for the new backup-to-disk folder in the path and give it a name and click ok. It gives the following error:

The System Cannot find the path specified

On the My Computer i could see and browse to Y folder just fine.

Any thoughts? Any help is appreciated!

To create a backup to disk folder on a remote server then you'll have to specify the server name and and shared disk etc (\\servername\shareddisk\location)

For example, in the path type in:
\\add-syd03\c$\temp
