Unable to open item - skipped

In my logs are several of these exeptions:
Unable to open the item \\SR03\C:\WINNT\system32\CPL.CFG - skipped.
Unable to open the item \\SR03\C:\WINNT\system32\wins\j50.log - skipped.
Unable to open the item \\SR03\C:\WINNT\system32\wins\wins.mdb - skipped.
Unable to open the item \\SR03\C:\WINNT\system32\wins\winstmp.mdb - skipped.

The setting I use for backing up opened files is With a lock. I have no Advanced Open File Agent installed, should I?

I assume that those skipped files are gonna be a problem when I have to do a full restore.

But not all servers have these errors. Why is that?

Hello Mellema,

Please refer to the following technote for the following error:


"The Error "Unable to open the item \\servername\filename - skipped" appears when attempting to backup dhcp.mdb, wins.mdb, and winsmtp.mdb."
