A previous technitian configured the c: drive to a raid 0 with 2 hot swapables which are now raid 1 for the new c drive after the old one failed. Needed to restore to last friday but employee locked tape (Little tab on tape itsself). NO back up for friday, so needed to restore to thursday, after installing backup exec thursday was inventoried and came up as Unknown media, so tried wednesday, inventoried and came up as wednesday, cataloged, restored to wednesday. tried to inventory thursday again, unknown media still. Can anyone help? no robotic libraries, no removable storage service. Windows server 2003, backup exec 10d for windows servers, all updates as of today, drivers work fine. Just can't get the dang tape to come up. Can't relable, need information from thursday and labeling means erase all data.
