Hi all I am not sure if I ask this question under the correct link but I am in desperate need for a solution!!!
I have a HP Proliant DL380 server and a HP USB DAT72 Tape drive.
The latest firmware is on the Server and Tape drive.
The IDR backup to tape works very well.
My problem starts when I need to restore the IDR. I use the same server and tape from which the IDR was done. I only replace the hard drive with exactly the same type, but now with a clean one.
After the tape drive is switched to the OBDR mode I start the server which then successfully boots from the tape drive and starts to load the Windows 2003 files after I selected to start the IDR process from the BackupExec purple screen. (Initial text install mode.)
A gray window then displays the Backup exec IDR initialization .......message.
The server then reboots and boot from the tape drive again, and again asks if I want to use the IDR process. I enter to confirm and the windows files are loaded again but this time after the BackupExec Initialization message...I get a blue screen of death with the message: UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
I am desperate!!! Please help !!!!
