Urgent - Backup Exec 9.1 agents and upgrading to 10.0

Hello, I have SQL and Exchange agents for Backup Exec 9.1 for Windows.

Our site recently qualified for the free upgrade to Backup Exec 10.0.

I need to know whether the 9.1 agents are compatible with 10.0, or if I need to purchase upgrades to the agents??

Please help! Thank you.

Hello,

The upgrade to Backup Exec version 10.0 is not a free upgrade.

If you want to backup the Exchange and SQL resources, you need to purchase new licenses for it, as you cannot use the 9.1 licenses for version 10.0 as they are not compatible.
