I cannot get Veritas to recognize the HP DAT72 USB tape drive.
Its running on a W2000 server and it sees it OK, but when I try to set it up in Vertas it's not there??
Any help greatly appreciated..

For both of the HP USB DAT tape drives listed on the HCL
http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/281670.htm
, footnote 2 says
"
The Hewlett Packard HPDAT.SYS driver v1.5.3.1 (or higher) is required for use with Backup Exec for Windows Servers. Please contact HP to acquire this driver."

Thanks for the reply Ken.
I have just got through talking to HP and the latest driver is installed and Windows recognizes and can use the unit. Veritas can still not see it??
I guess I will have to call Symantec support.
