Using backup exec to backup ghost server

One of the pc's that we're using veritas backup exec 9.1 to backup now has ghost server suite 1.1 installed on it (recently upgraded).  When running a backup, I get an error message:

Unable to open the item C:\Program Files\Symantec\Ghost\db\SYMANTECGHOST.DB - skipped

This scheduled backup has been run multiple times/days.  Do we need to purchase an additional database module to back this up?  We currently have the sql one.  Thanks.

I'd say that you probably need to setup a Pre and Post command to stop/start the Ghost service on the workstation to get that file

Thanks for the suggestion.  Between that and the forum posting: https://forums.symantec.com/syment/board/message?board.id=109&message.id=62&query.id=4887#M62
which leads to :

I was able to write a quick batch file to simply "net stop ngserver".

I don't know why I didn't put the idea together sooner myself, I guess I was just stuck on the database module thing.
