I receive the following error when trying to backup exchange server. I don't believe its a permissions issue.

Backup- \\KCHEXG0\Microsoft Site Replication Service\SRS Storage Unable to attach to \\KCHEXG0\Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes.
V-79-57344-33932 - Unable to attach to a resource.  Make sure that all selected resources exist and are online, and then try again.
Unable to attach to \\KCHEXG0\Microsoft Exchange Public Folders.

Any help would be greatly accepted.

This one happens to me after I delete a mailbox from the server before removing it from the selection list. BE doesn't seem to synchronize with the file system or exchange mailbox deletions.
 
Create a new selection list and set your backup job to use it.
