VERY VERY SLOW B2D.

My backup to disk is running very very slow all of a sudden.  about a week ago it started taking 20+ hrs for 36GB backup which used to take ~2hrs.  The last time I rebooted was when I installed SP1 for build 7170.  Live update has installed later hotfixes up to HF21 (many of which require rebooting which I have not done yet).  I am currently waiting for a 66 GB duplicate backup to complete.  The original backup took 52hrs!  If anyone has any input I'd appreciate it.  Hopefully all I need is the universal problem solver "reboot"

Yep, same here. I get 3 MB per minute!!!! That is slower than writing to Floppy disk, I've a fast LTO-3 but it works so slow with BackupExec 11d, all updated applied. The symantec support could not fix it for over 3 months and I getting very frustrated.  I've no clean copy of backup for months and it really sucks.

Figured it out.  I had plugged a UPS into the usb ports and this made both USB ports operate in USB 1.1 speed instead of USB 2.0 speeds.
