VSS making my backups too large

I am using VSS to protect the data drive on a 2003 Poweredge server. I'd like to exclude the VSS snapshots from my veritas 9.0 4454 backups. Can you please advise? Thanks alot!

Hello,

As you want to exclude VSS snapshots from backup, are you getting an error as "The error "VSS snapshots are not supported on the version of the operating system running on target machine"?
