Verify Tape Capacity

I got a DELL powervault 112T tape unit with a powervault 110Tdrive in it.
my BE version is 8.6 Rev 3878

is there a way that i can check the capacity of the tape. i know i can see how much of data i have written but i need to check either the full or remaining capacity of the tape.

If you are using hardware compression , no there is no way

If you are using either no compression or sofrware compression. one of the canned reports (the media set report, I think, will tell you how much has been written to each tape

I can get the amount written.

But all what i want is the balance left or the full capacity.
is there a way to achieve this?

Are there any expert tools available that i can use to determine the capacity of the tape.
