Veritas Fails after IDR Rebuild

Our Clients server went down earlier last week due to a failed HDD in an array and we have since replaced the drive and ran the IDR CD which restored the operating system to working order.

The problem was Veritas could not connect to the local media server. We attempted to repair the installation only to have it fall over. We have since uninstalled Veritas and are attempting a re-install however the installation seems to be falling over reporting that Data.Cab is corrupt or damaged after atempting to copy the file "C:\WINNT\system32\msrd2x32.dll" which is part of the Microsoft Jet Engine.

If you could provide some assistance to this issue it would be much appreciated.

Solved this one myself but thought i should post for anyone else.

It seems that the set-up off the CD was causing the error. I can only assume that its due to the size of the Data.Cab File.

By Copying the whole CD to the hard disk and running the install from there it solved the problem.
