Regarding the error; "An error occurred while importing the WMI Repository files.The WMI Repository could not be restored"
WMI repository files cannot be restored using an IDR process.
Instead you have to follow the steps below after the IDR process is over,
-Create a restore job using the appropriate backup set that contains valid WMI data.
-From the Restore Job Properties dialog box, on the Properties pane, under Source, click Selections, and select the default location "%SystemRoot%\system32\wbem" of the identified backup set.
-On the Properties pane, under Settings, click Advanced, and select the option Restore Windows Management Instrumentation repository.
-Run the job.
