Backup AOFO Store...

I am fully backing up a windows 2000 server. The "C" drive is only 2 GIG, and the temporary Backup AOFO Store directory has become too large when a backup is executing. The "E" drive raid is 200 GB, and the temporary snapshot file it creates is bringing down the box. I have tried to move the directory with the wizard, and now the new directory is getting most of the temporary snapshot file, but 500 MB is still getting created on the "C" drive, and unfortunatley...I've only got 500 MB left to work with.

How can I pipe all of the Backup AOFO Store snapshot file to the RAID's "E" drive?

Thanks

Hi,

When using AOFO to create a snapshot for backup, when the backup is completed, the snapshot is deleted.
Please refer to the following technotes:

- How to change the default location of AOFO cache in Backup Exec 9.x for Windows Servers

http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/268450.htm

- How to get Advanced Open File Option to snap one volume at a time during multi-volume backups

http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/264464.htm

- The Advanced Open File Option cache file is not removed after a successful backup.

We hope this will help.
