This is a Microsoft issue rather than a BE one. Windows Server identifies the hardware volume shadow copy in the same way that it identifies a hard disk.
When you delete a hardware volume shadow copy, Windows Server 2003 generates the same error message that is generated when a hard disk is removed.
As part of your update you removed Root\LEGACY_ERASERUTILDRV10710\0000 which windows thought was a hard drive.
In other words you can ignore it.
