Hello. All
Please understand me about my broken English.
Few days ago, The HP Auto-loader had issue with the TAPE Drive So HP support helped to change the TAPE Drive. After the change drive I got the error code from Backup Eexc.
[Error message]
" The job failed with the following error: The operation failed to acquire the minimum number of drives and media needed. "
Windows Server 2012 R2
Backup Exec 2016
The Autoloader firmware and driver are latest version.
Device Inventory Now check and the schedule test both are success.
But Backup schedule Job was failed.
Could you please let me know what is the next step after the change TAPE drive?
1. Reboot the Server ?
2. Delete the all device in the server and thn re-install?
Please kindly reply for my question.
Thank you for your help.

I would speculate that you backup job is targetted at the now-missing tape drive. Therefore I would double check the settings of your backup job. Specifically what the target device or target pool is.
Since the "inventory now" job worked, I would presume the proper tapes showed in the proper slots in the job log?
If problems still persist:
1) Please post your adamm.log here
2) Restart the BE services
3) Reboot the server
BE should automatically detect your tape library and drives. To confirm, look in Windows Device Manager. The robotic library should show up as "unknown medium changer" under the "Medium Changer devices".

Thanks you for your reply.
I fixed Backup Exec issue.
1. Reboot the Windows server 2012 R2
2. Initialzise the backup Exec devices.
3. relocation the bakcup devices for each job.
4. Inventory now (OK)
5. Test job (OK)
Thank you for your advise.
