When will Granular Recovery Technology be available for Windows Server 2012?

Does anyone know when GRT will be available for Windows Server 2012 machines?  I need to be able to backup a Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V host along with 5 virtual servers that are all running Windows 2012.  I can backup and restore entire machines, but not individual components or files.  I'm hoping this will be available soon.  I would not recommend Backup Exec to anyone running Windows Server 2012 until this feature is available.

The latest news on Backup Exec 2012 R2 and upcoming support was released a couple of days ago.

See here for the blog and to sign up for the Beta https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/blogs/backup-exec-2012-update-vsphere-55-support-and-r2-beta...

Thanks!

Can anyone tell me if Granular Recovery Technology is supported for Windows Server 2012 now that SP3 has been released?  I saw a note saying that 2012 R2 was not supported yet.  But how about regular old Server 2012 Standard?

Limited functionality for GRt support of Windows 2012 VMs is available in BE 2012 SP2

Collin, I have been using SP2 for quite some time now and I am unable to backup and restore any of my VM's using GRT.  I can backup a Hyper-V host and all of the VM's in a single job, but then I can only restore an entire VM.  I cannot restore individual files or folders that are located on any of the VM's.

So basically I have 1 job set to backup my Hyper-V host, and then other individual jobs for each of my VM's.  This is the only way that I can restore individual files and folders.  I was hoping that SP3 would allow me to do this in a single job.

Below is a link to a previous thread that I started a couple of months ago.  You will see in this old thread that I was told by Symantec that it was not supported with Windows Server 2012 as of Service Pack 2.  I'm simply trying to figure out if there is anything new in Service Pack 3 that will allow me to use GRT.
