Why a delay in Backup?

We are working on a Win2003 server with version 10(5484). All of a sudden, my backups are delayed until 4 am (which should begin at 5 pm). This appears in my log: Overwrite Protected Until: 12/14/2006 5:00:00 AM... I did not set this parameter. How can I change it?

Media Tab
select the Media Set that is the target, right click, properties.
Set the Overwrite Protection so that it has expired when you want to re-use it.

Try setting it down one day, 13 days rather than 14 for example

It is set for 1 Hour. Again, this just happened with no intervention on my part! It's been 1 hour right along.

On a whim, I decided to retention the media and it seems to have done the trick.
