Will Open File agent Backup a MS SQL DB?

If I have a MS SQL server with only the open file agent installed, will I get a usable copy of the DBs on tape?

Hello,



1.)There is no need to install AOFO if you already have SQL agent installed. Backup of SQL database should be performed using SQL agent not using AOFO.


2.) In case of remote SQL server also, the AOFO is not required to be installed on the remote server. The SQL agent will perform backup of SQL database.
