Is there anny way to down compress these files to insure that the HD does not get clogged with them .Also im getting an error : sysmantic System error: -529697949. when trying to view these now. I had a quick fix of rebooting but that is not feasable in the long term .... Anyone got any ideas !!

Set the Logging Option to "Summary Only"  you will still see all errors and warnings, but will only see a summary of each share/database you backup
