you dont need to install any agent . You just need to intall the license in Backup exec .

 If your BE server is remote server and not installed on hyper-v then you need to just install the remote agent on the hyper-v host to backup the host

...I suspect by saying Hyper-V you actually mean ESXi as the OP is asking about the ESXi hypervisor. No mention of Microsoft Hyper-V at all...
