backint with Runtime Error

Hello!

I can't backup my SAP Oracle installation under Windows Server 2003.
The _backint stops with a "Visual C++ Runtime Error".

In the knowledgebase there is a hint that I should install the latest MSXML, but which Version? MSXML3? 4? Which SP?

Okay, got it running.

I replaced the MSXML3 SP5 dll's with the SP4 one, and it works.

( msxml3.dll and msxml3r.dll , don't forget to regsvr32 the dll's )

I had to do this manual, the SP4 installer from Microsoft can't downgrade.

OK, forget it, the error still exist.
backint is running fine without any note, but the _backint.mdb is NOT created.
So the backup is trash.

Which dll's are used by backint?
There must be more than msxml3* . :(

Edit:
If I start the brarchive command (which calls the backint) from within a cmd everything is going fine, the _backint.mdb is written.
Startet from db13 (a SAP transaktion for job scheduling) I got the runtime error.
Its not a permission issue ... its the same user.
Any hint?
I have this issue only under Windows Server 2003, with Windows 2000 everything is running fine with db13.

OK, we have a statement from SAP to this error, and we DO have to upgrade to BE 10 to backup SAP 6.40.

A test with BE10 Trial was positiv, it's working. No chance to backup this system with 9.1 .
